While scouring the internet, I recently had the chance to test out the Gigabyte Aero 17 HDR XD and I was pretty impressed with its performance.
Obviously, the display is the first thing I had to review first. The 17.3″ Thin Bezel UHD 4k 3840×2160 IPS Anti-glare Display LCD (VESA DisplayHDR 400, 100% Adobe RGB), X-Rite Certified, per unit factory calibrated & Pantone Validated Color Accuracy is just fantastic.
Every color pops and it’s just so immersive. I didn’t think I’d ever say this about a laptop, but it’s almost like you’re looking through a window.
The next thing I took note of was the processor. It’s an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11800H (2.3GHz~4.6GHz), which is more than enough power for gaming and other demanding tasks. I was also happy to see that it comes with 16GB of memory (with a max of 64GB), as well as a 1TB SSD.
Now, on to the gaming performance. This is where the Gigabyte Aero 17 HDR XD really shines.

As for battery life, I was able to get around 4 hours of use before having to plug it in, which is really good for a gaming laptop.
